The Festival of Lights!

Many of you of probably don't know this, but tonight is the first night of Hanukkah. So you know what that means? Presents for the next 8 nights! Unfortunately, I'm not home to enjoy any gifts from my parents, but Joey (being a great friend!) surprised me and told me he has a few goodies up his sleeve.

Here's his Day 1 gift:




It took a little bit of getting used to - mainly because it stands over 10 ft tall and takes up the majority of my bedroom - but now I can't imagine my room without it! Joey is trying to play it cool, but something tells me he's had these gifts planned for a long time - he's such a good friend! I can't wait to see what's next - I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks again, Joey!

NYC shoot : insanity

We were in NYC this past week shooting episodes 1-4 of our new web series, tentatively called "Viral." It was an insane week of shooting, but we could not be more excited with how it's turning out. Big thanks to our cast and crew for making it a success. Here's a sneak peek at a scene we shot with Tay Zonday a.k.a. "the Chocolate Rain guy." It was surreal. Stay tuned for more!!

Enticed by the television ads, I swung by a Jack-in-the-Box the other day to try their new steak and eggs burrito. As I sat in traffic chowing down on the thick chunks of steak, cheesy eggs, and spicy chipotle sauce...I found myself so excited by its deliciousness that I felt this strange sense of personal duty to spread the word about my discovery. I almost felt guiltly that here I was, alone in my car, having this incredible taste-experience that so many others may never get the chance to have, simply by their lack of awareness, or enlightenment if you will. It struck me that perhaps by some divine order I had come upon this delicacy and it was my destiny to tell the world. I've never been too religious, but this just felt bigger than myself. So I'm a few phone calls into the process and realizing that if spreading this message is my reason for being placed on this earth, I'm going to need to think on a bigger, grander scale....hence the blog post. Anyway, try it and tell me what you think. The tator-tot sticks are pretty out of this world too. (Not sure if the tots are part of the message I've been chosen to spread, so I'm just covering my ass here).

Change of place

Hey Everyone –
Sorry for the lack of videos/updates recently. We’ve been working on that Internet pilot for Warner Brothers; and have some other exiting stuff in the cooker. And finally, we should mention that we have relunctantly made the move from NYC to sunny Los Angeles, California. These things are never easy, but it was a matter of timing. It had been fun with New York, a lot of memories had...crazy nights. But we were both young. And the drugs were rampant. Free love was the name of the game; and she knew how to play it. And don't get us wrong, the sex was good. Better than good; it was great. Damn, New York was into some kinky shit. Like, whips and shit. S&M. But in the end we both knew what this was. And she wanted it just like we wanted it; but at this point in our lives, we need to find a city that we can take home for Shabbas dinner. A city we can build a real future with. Not some gutter trash whore. So we're through, New York. We left some money on the dresser. We'd tell you to use it to buy your kids some new clothes, but we know you're just going to spend it on crack. Kiss Stacey on the forehead for us and tell her Daddy loves her. Let her know she always has a home in Los Angeles. Take care of yourself, babe. I'll miss you.

Warner Brother's casting opportunity

Here's a cliff notes version:

We wrote an Internet series. Warner Brothers bought it. They're casting it throughout the next week. We wanted to extend this opportunity to our friends for possible inclusion in the pilot.

Several of the principal roles are for older actors, but there are some supporting roles and featured extra parts that will need to be filled. Either way it's a paid gig and it shoots in NYC. If you know others that might be interested, please feel free to pass along the information.
